Story

NOYA Design Studio focuses on brand strategy, design and marketing for a wide variety of business types. First created in 2019 as a developing photo studio, NOYA has morphed and grown through the years to offer many tools to create and visualize a brand, product or project.

Our core beliefs center around building community and helping people tell their story. Cultivating a healthy culture of commerce is an important part of the the human ecosystem and it starts by promoting local, family owned and independent businesses.

Hello! I am Andrea Nyberg, the owner and designer of NOYA design studio. I live in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina with my partner and two Belgian Malinois in a house that basically serves as a time capsule from the 1970’s. We are slowly chipping away at updates, learning some things the hard way and enjoying the process. I spend my time away from branding working on the garden or making silversmith jewelry in my home studio, selling it online and in local shops.

I spent over 10 years working for large companies, freelancing in San Francisco as a photo stylist, designer and overall creative. From that experience I learned a lot about organization, streamlining production, marketing and how to get projects done efficiently. Over time the impact that I was making in the corporate world did not align with my values and I took the leap to set out on my own with hopes of making a more positive effect on the world. I am happy that I did so and looking forward to continue meeting authentic and motivated people.
